Identify : New GSP and something else?

Just got some new gsp and planning to get it carpeting the back wall. Bought it from my LFS but a new person packed him up for us and they seemed very new and not sure of which coral was which and I didn’t notice this other coral (?) that was on it. Can anyone tell me what this is? Just want to make sure it’s not harmful.

Hi ,possible hydroids ? should be easy to cut out if need be.

Just remove it. Irritating the gsp and looks to be a type of hydroid.

Could also be a Kenya tree baby, which can still be a pest once it grows and starts dropping its own babies

Possibly hydroids, possibly cloves. I would probably remove it to be honest.

If you're going to remove it, do this outside of the tank in a small bucket of water. You don't really want these things to float freely throughout the tank and show up elsewhere.
Another option is to smother the colony with some epoxy. Eventually the GSP will grow over this and you'll never know it was there. GL.
