Can someone tell me what this is?

I would say it is some sort of chalice. I can see large polyps, and septa/costae (polyps circled in black, septa/costae outlined in blue).

It is definitely not a montipora capricornis, as true monti caps are almost never seen in the hobby. True capricornis are purple in color, and don't have any papillae, tuberculae, or ridges. True caps also have a "wave" texture on them. Here is the COTW page on them.
