Bought this very unique polyp in from my guy in Chinatown. Basically, under his tank lighting it's a white/silver base with light green fringe. In my tank the base is a bit more greenish silver but still very striking and at $10 for the one, it's expensive.

If any one knows what type of zoa this is, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks

Thank you Boom, think that's the one.

$10 per polyp is expensive? My LFS gets $15-$20 per polyp on common stuff like jawbreakers and sunny d's!

That's a pretty sweet looking morph though and definitely isn't a color you don't see too often in any coral.

That’s not necessary....
A dollar can be a fortune to someone, let alone ten bucks.

It's probably because my LFS doesn't have a lot of competition besides stores like Petco in terms of coral sales so they often get whatever they want for named varieties. I know in West Palm Beach, FL where my girlfriend is from, coral prices are much more competitive and stuff like Sunny D zoas go for like $3-5 per polyp.

I'd throw down $10 for a moondust fairy zoa like the one above in a heartbeat here in P'cola.

Pensacola, assuming these things grow out (my guy says they grow fast) I'll be fragging in a few months so hit me up in the future.

I have one frag of moondust fairy available too. :) Has 6 polyps.

Wanna sponsor my instagram with it? I'll do shoutouts twice a week haha
