Moved to the disease forum.

That looks really bad. How much of that is on the foxface and how much is on the glass? Also, how long has he been this way? Was he QT'd and were any of the other fish QT'd?

This fish and three others where QT three months ago all where doing great till i had a algae problem they started dying after i removed some rock out of the tank to clean have not put rock back in,also lost blue hippo tang and a fire angel.as of now i have 4 clowns 2 blennies 1 yellow tang and a diamond goby doing OK.could disturbing the tank taking the rocks out have done this spots where only on foxface. The day before they started dying i did a 30g water change on a 125g tank to get phosphates down witch i think was my algae outbreak all other parameters where good.

Ok. I'm pretty confused here. So there were four fish -including the foxface picture above- in QT, but they were added to the display 3 weeks ago? How did you QT the fish - what meds/methods were used?

It looks like the foxface may have a terrible infection going on here. How long has he been this way? How much of the spots in the picture are on the fish and how much of it is on the glass?

Ok sorry, all fish have been in display tank for 2 months before that they where in qt for 4 weeks no meds just watched for problems all where doing good eating ect,

Gotcha. Now, how long has he been this way? When did it start? Is he breathing heavily? Eating? Swimming normally? Anybody else exhibiting symptoms such as white spots, flashing, scratching, swimming into the flow of a powerhead, yawning? Please try to answer all these questions for us to be able to help you.

this all started the day after i removed rocks first the blue hippo, the next day two purple dottybacks which have been in tank 6 months the foxface on the third day.

How long ago was this? A few days ago?
irst the blue hippo, the next day two purple dottybacks which have been in tank 6 months the foxface on the third day.
So they all exhibited these symptoms and died?

no signs of problems the fox had spots the day before it died it was swimming around but not eating hiding in rock none of the other fish showed anything the hippo was swimming around one morning went to work came home it was dead the fox was lying on bottom on its side breathing hard.

OK. This was pretty bad and could have been a gram negative bacterial infection that spread through the fish quickly. Usually there is an underlying factor that lets the bacteria take hold... though with the gram negative infections it's pretty hard to stop them. I'm worried about what may have been the underlying cause. It's impossible to be sure about that since there were no obvious symptoms prior to the outbreak so the list is pretty long on suspects. For now, watch any remaining fish for the first signs of this same infection and be ready to move back to QT. If you have any of these on hand then be ready to use them:
Anti-bacterial/antibiotics: A broad spectrum antibiotic that treats both gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial diseases is recommended. Seachem Kanaplex, Furan-2, Nitrofuracin Green Powder and Triple Sulfa Powder are all good options to have on hand. Erythromycin & Minocycline can also be used but are becoming more difficult to find. To achieve the widest possible spectrum of treatment when battling a particularly nasty bacterial infection, combine the following: Kanaplex, Furan-2, and metronidazole (exs. Seachem MetroPlex, Metro-MS).

If not, then I suggest getting some. I'd like to get a second opinion on this for you though. @Humblefish will probably have more detailed info for you on this and what you may need to do now or in the future.

Wow that's really really bad I've never seen anything quite like that. Mel is giving you great advice :)

Well today going to loose a clown and a blennie, clown is darting erratically around tank then floating on its side, whatever i have is slowly spreading.

I'm sorry sweetie. I would get these fish into QT asap and start treatment. You may not save them all, but you could save some. The fact that you tried your best is what counts :)

I have tried removing them but too much rock, only fish left is a yellow tang,if it dies i am going to coral only for a year any thing in tank should be gone by then i think.

anything in the tank would be gone after 76 days. Have you tried a fish trap?
