Identify this growth please

Does anyone know what type of growth this is, or if it is a mouth?

Remains of two barnacles that were growing on that now dead coral.

Maybe, It does have polyps at night.

I do see some live tissues in the main trunk of the coral but the there is quite a lot of dead tips.
