this plug has been in since early March, and this is the first time I’m noticing whatever this thing is. It’s hard to see but it’s got little tenticles

Ugh. Looking close I feel like someone’s going to tell me aptasia

Yea, tough to tell from pic. Looks like an anemone..of some kind

It's a little blurry still but it could be. Wait for others to chime in to be sure but, if it is aptasia, they're easy to kill with aptasia x

I do have a bubble tip in the tank. Do they split?

If they split they'll usually tear themselves in half, that looks kind of tiny

Looks like Aiptasia.

Is it a green BTA or a RBTA? I've seen tiny RBTA about the size of a nickel but they didn't look that happy and were definitely red. I agree that it's likely aiptasia though.
