It looks like little flowers. Some pale/whitish. Others pinkish. All on the glass.

thats coralline algae. it will grow on rocks too. Its hard to the touch and a pita to scrape off the glass. This is a good thing imho. Means your tank element params are right where they should be

You definitely want to keep the front/side glass clean of it, it can get real hard to scrape off over time.
