This is my first post. I just joined R2R today so please bare with me.
So I have read a bunch of forms and used google image to compare pics but I don't have very much experience in identifying parasites and knowing what best to use to treat them. Fortunately over the years I haven't had to deal with fighting sick fish.
My vlamingi tang seems very happy other than the end of his tail is turning white, his fins are getting white/translucent blotches, and one of his eyes a little cloudy (sometimes it's hard to see the cloudy eye depending on the light but you can see the white/translucent blotches on the fins and white on the end of the tail in the picture).
My coral beauty angel and black ice clown rub their gills against the rocks here and there. The black ice clown has a dark spot on his back which you can kind of see in the picture(in the white just behind and below the dorsal fin) coral sting or parasite?
Everyone is eating well and gets along great. My yellow tang and red scooter as of right now show no signs of anything as far as I can tell...
I've delt with ich long ago but this seems a little different. I'm not seeing any white spots like before. The only thing that seems like it could be ich is the white blotches on the vlamingis fins but even then they don't necessarily look like ich pics that I've seen on google. Anyone have experience with identifying and treating any of these symptoms? Or know of an article with good info?
