Identity Help

Hi everyone,

I had a couple strands of this hitch hike on a zoa frag I put into the tank about a month ago. Would this be some kind of macro algae? It's burgundy in colour and the tips of the blades are feathery/fern like. I've been afraid to trim in case it spores and grows elsewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The "feathery" makes me nervous about Bryopsis.

Thanks for the bump! So my coral guy figures Bryopsis as well. Luckily it was almost all attached to the zoa frag it came in on and has now been removed. I understand I will have to treat with that fungal stuff likely as well. Thanks for the input!
