idk what this is

so ummm this just appeared a few days ago i think? i randomly found it idk what it is. help?
tank is pretty old, nothing new added in the tank (rock, coral and sand wise). it looks like a sponge but i’m not sure??

OOOHHH that explains everything.
i’ve had my sea hare for about two weeks...
do they breed well in captivity? do they reproduce asexually or need two?
there were like five of them in the dang tank when i bought hi- her*.

They are hermaphrodites with a full set of both male and female reproductive organs. I've read that some see the eggs hatch but nothing any further then that.
