I did a red hair algae treatment a few weeks ago, we'll during the treatment I lost my mandarin, idk why he looked fine and was eating before I did the treatment. Last week my kole tang passes and my phosphates were 5 along with nitrates, kh was 10 which is about where it's stayed since startup. I just left the house for a few hrs but noticed my coral beauty is acting funny, kinda pale. When I lost my tang calcium and everything else was normal I'll have to test today when I get back home tho

I would proceed with some smaller water changes.

With fish be more concerned about ammonia, O2 levels, SG and temp. Calcium/Alk and mag are rarely going to be so out of line to affect fish.

Alright I did one yesterday so I will do another tomorrow I've done 2 20 gal water changes on my 75gal. Temp was a little low the other day bc I moved my heater and forgot to plug it back in. Temp dropped to around 72 but I have the heater plugged back in now so it's back to normal and staying steady. Luckily with the wc my tanks still sitting at 1.025 it was a little under .026 right after my wc but it's diluted down to normal now

Would feeding have anything to do with my cb? I feed everyother day mixed frozen cube alternated with rods herb blend

What did you use for the red hair algae?
Or do you mean red slime algae?
There are two of them as one is a algae/spirulina and the other Cyano is a bacteria.

I used chemi clean? I think is the right name. I had a airstone running in my system until about 4 days ago, but pulled it out thinking a couple weeks, and a 25 percent water change was enough to cycle out

I tried the peroxide, and some tank algae away. it didn't have a affect so I dosed chemiclean

Well got back home and my cb didn't make it..... all other fish seem healthy along with a few corals. Still don't know what's wrong..... about to test Params again and go from there as far as temp, sg no big swings in atleast a week
