Cycled media is often used which allows for an immediate setup. Also, a lot of those tanks aren't in place long enough to run into any issues.

yeah definitely cycled media is used, they setup at least a day in advance, and you'll notice a lot of the vendors use AIO frag tanks for ease of setup vs. sumps.
