It’s soft, I bought the mushroom rock just because I really like the macro algae, so probably from Vietnam. I tough it could be going asexual but it’s been like this for 2 months now. Pic is under a orange filter.

Looks like plating coraline algae to me but that's usually flaky, somewhat hard. Interesting.

I can assure you that that’s definitely an algae

The closest I could go was peyssonnelia sp. but there’s hundreds of espécies under this family pinpointing the right one would be almost impossible [emoji23]
