I'd get a button on my lighting app to change the lighting for taking photo's for 5-10 minutes, then auto-magically return to previous settings. I'd even be able to set the time limit in settings. Are there any lights available that have this type of capability? I want user friendly and easy.

Darn it..you just made a 950 Ecotech G6 XR30 1,050 on the mere suggestion of a new feature. THANKS A LOT!!

AI lights are already fairly close to this. It sits on the schedule setting and all you’d need to do is click the on button. you have to remember to put it back into the schedule setting though after the fact.

2 "taps" in the Neptune Fusion app gets me to photo mode, with no additional Apex programming.

The Red Sea's have a similar function, though it's not called photo mode, and it requires more than just hitting a single button.

Within the app, you can put the light into 'manual' and set the duration up to 60 minutes. Within manual you can adjust the intensity of the blue, white, and moonlight channels.

If you have lights that are controlled by an apex, you can easily make a photo mode.

I set up my apex so when I turn on photo mode, I get up to 5 minutes where the powerheads turn off to minimize motion blur and my lights adjust to my optimal spectrum.

Your phone camera should have a "manual" or "pro" mode you can also change the white balance setting, dial it up high to anywhere between 7k to 10k depending on how blue your tank is, and it serves a similar function as a blue lense filter. Below pics were taken this way from my phone without any post-edit

With Radions you can do this as well using a scene and you set the colors/time and it returns back to normal in mobius.

I wish there was a fixture that you could do:

* sps setting

and then you can type in your current alk and nutrient levels and it would optimize.

Yes, my Reefbreeders pro has this capability somewhat.
There is a screen you can go to that will allow you to adjust settings and keep them there for a set amount of time or one time you can program.

Mitras have a light scenarios you can set then just activate it.

Another one to check out. It's only money, we'll make more. Thanks!

Ecotech Radions using the mobius app does this exactly.

BTW - my RS LED90's have settings and, yes, I can go in and set them up and, if they are connected to Wi-Fi at the moment (always a crap shoot, although it's gotten better). Can anyone say Wi-Fi 6? I can change the setting and when done change them back to normal schedule, if I have 20 minutes to spare. I'm actually looking for much simpler, than digging through menus and settings. Button on home page for pictures, or even a physical button on the lights would work, tap, snap, done. Take a few shots and walk away, let the software handing reverting back. Appreciate the leads. It will give me some things to check out.
