Hey everyone

so I’ve had soft corals in my tank for a while under 140-180 par and they were okay ! But now I’m getting into LPS like favias/blastos and I lowered my total tank par to 70-150. So my question is since I lowered my light intensity will it have a negative effect on the other soft corals ?

I've done similar lighting changes and my softies weren't effected that I could tell. My anemones were less than happy but have adjusted.

I'd still keep an eye on the ones in the lower levels and see if they need some acclimation to new levels.

Thanks for the response! I just wanted to be sure I see alot of don’t raise the lights but never what happens when you lower them

Lowering light intensity for softies will be mostly ok. Increasing is different though
