If it looks like a jelly it must be right?

I just saw this thing in my tank, no idea how it got there. It looks like a jelly but wasn't sure. Maybe someone here knows. I'm posting a rather "blue" video so you can see the "jelly" like swimming its doing.

I have the same thing that happens. It is not all the time. I have no clue what they are.

It does. They come in waves. You won't see them for weeks and then for a day you will see them. I have looked online for info but everything points to hydroids. They just don't look like any hydroids in any of the pictures.

i think those are a type of snail.i remember reading about them about a year ago when i had them in my tank.i could be wrong

I wonder if it could be a hydromedusae...it is in close relation to a hydroid.
it also could be on the order of the Sea Gooseberry.

Lfs saud maybe a flat worm. But they swim like jellyfish too much to me to be a worm. The mystery continues.

I have been netting them when I see them. I figure that they are in the Medusa stage and that is when they reproduce. Other information I have found is that they will go away on their own. Another thing that I have noticed and it may or may not be related is when I am doing work in my tank and take my arm out of the water it itches.

My Jelly Fish (or whatever they are) saga continues. Only they are growing in numbers. It appears they come from these things that I can see growing all over my rocks which is maybe the pre-jelly fish stage? Then the jelly fish thing just swims around the tank. My fish don't eat them, but I'd sure like to know just what the heck they are. Here's a picture if you can make them out. The things that I think they grow from are circled in black and the jelly in white.
