If of these Corals please

All I know is that the second one is not a torch but is that one near my polyps a sponge?

Third one looks like radioactive dragon eyes.

It's a montipora. Possibly montipora verrucosa

The last one is a Montipora Pallowensis. Kung Pao, Brain Freeze, Beach Bum, etc.

While I can say that the last one is a Montipora I'm not sure how you guys are getting as far as species level. There are dozens of species of Montipora in the world and many are misidentified as they enter the hobby. Even a couple of my friends who are coral taxonomists completely avoid trying to ID most species of Montipora without genetic info since they can assume similar growth forms

Do you know what it is? Everyone is trying to help get a general idea. If that's the case go on every acro ID thread and tell everyone how wrong they are because they can't look at the dead corals skeleton. It's not that serious and like I said, members are trying to help.

I hope I didn’t come off the wrong way, wasn’t trying to diss y’all but I was just wondering if maybe you guys knew something we didn’t. One of my pet peeves with the reef hobby is scientists and hobbies don’t work together to smooth things over leading to a lot of inconsistencies that could easily be fixed. I do know for a fact that it is a Montipora.Coming from the naturalist community that’s all I’m confident enough to say so normally we leave it there unless more evidence comes up. Montipora and Acropora aren’t entirely impossible to ID but the vast majority are too similar to each other. Once again I was legitimately curious on how you guys came up with IDs like that
