Asterina starfish for sure, second one looks like it could be a standard mushroom or a ricordea of some type. And the last one looks like palys of some type. Possibly button palys.

Thanks again ! Mixed reviews of the starfish right? And most likely can’t do a thing about it?

Jury is out. Some people dont like them, others dont mind them. Me I dont mind them at all :)

Pest, as far as I'm concerned. They eat coraline algae.

You CAN do something about them. Turkey baster. I once spent a couple months cleaning them out of a 30g tank. It was a lot of work, but better than aiptasia or some elusive crab. Every day after work, I'd grab the turkey baster and suck out every one I could see. I did eventually get rid of them. Pain, but easier than dealing with aiptasia.

Hmmm eat Coraline huh? I’d say I’ll be a pro turkey baster by thanksgiving.
Aren’t there like 20 different species? Do they all eat Coraline?

I dunno. The ones I had were eating coraline off my rocks and glass.

A little trick to help getting them off with the turkey baster, is to puff a little water at them first, to dislodge them, then suck em up. They come off the glass easy. Little less easy to remove from the rocks, but still easy. Just takes time and diligence. They do increase in population and you will see babies. Get em before they grow up!!
Good luck!!

Harlequin shrimp will eat them but once there gone you will have to feed them legs off a chocolate chip star of find a lfs that has a bunch of asterina stars . They usually just give them tk you

I have a Harlequin to control them. Still many in my tank, so he does have food. These guys will dislocate one of their legs which becomes a new one ( which is how they multiply)
