If you could have a tank custom built for you what would themeasurements be for it. what would yourreason be for that size. I would like tohave a tank built that I can keep in the living room and know the floor willsupport it. i just don’t know if I would want it 48 or 72 long. And now surehow wide I would go. .

i currently have a 72x72x30 cube in the works will have a center overflow were the rock will be going around the reason for the build is for a shark tank/pred tank. planned build will start this winter

If I could I would have one made 120 x 36 x 24. I love Tangs so I would love to be able to provide ample swimming space. The 30" d would be for nice aquascaping depth

6'x3'x3' i love angel fish and sps, i would have open rock work for the sps, and have a blue face, asfur, imperator angel, this would be my dream tank.

I just had a custom tank built. I went with 84lx30wx24t This was the what I could fit in the area for the tank. If I had just a little more room I would have done 96L, but I LOVE the 84L. Go with as big as you can nothing worse then getting all done and wishing it was bigger. I love the 30W We wanted a tank that we could build the rock work right down the middle and still have good space behind it for flow and add corals to the back also. The fish also love the back to swim gives them more room. 24T was perfect for us any taller and maint starts to suck trying to reach the bottom of the tank. We also went with a coast to coast style external overflow and will never have an internal overflow again. You don't realize the amount of space they take up. That's my thought's on the matter

As long as possible and 36" wide min. 24-30" tall.
I love my 250 deep dimension tank (60"x36"x27") but if I had the room to go longer I definitely would.

You guys.... Forget a tank. I would have a sun room with a saltwater swimming pool. It would have a full length viewing window in the basement. I would get my dive stuff and start playing!!

As stupid as it sounds, I am still considering an upgrade, but I love my 40Br so much, I would prob just having it made new with all the bells and whistles (Tiny overflow box made only for surface agitation... not for a sump, and have starfire glass or acrylic (high thickness).

some very nice ideas. if you wanted would be a good witch to have good aquascape. 30" and i think a height of 24 would be plenty high

I'm planning on a waterfall tank system for my next tank. My sump will feed into my display fuge which will have a waterfall that feeds the rimless display. The display will have another waterfall that feeds a frag tank.
