If you had a empty 60 gallon tank..

Harem of clowns and lots of anemones.

Try growing a variety of macro algae instead of corals.

I have a 56 gallon column, so a similar footprint to a common rectangular 60 gallon, except taller and not as long. My tank is a high nutrient macro/ softie predominant tank with a rock scape that looks reef crest like. It has a tomini tang, coral beauty angel, pajama cardinal, yellow watchman, green citrin goby, royal Gramma, ocellaris clown, barnacle blenny, 2 neon gobies, and 4 masked gobies, plus a coral banded shrimp and cuc. It's an easy tank to maintain but is attractive in its own right.
