If you had to choose between 2 probes

I have an apex junior (bought used) comes with temp probe. I can use the aqua bus for 2 more probes correct? And if you had to choose between 2 probes , what would they be?

I was thinking salinity and ph probe .

This is on a 20g nuvo fusion.

Can’t use a salinity probe without a PM2 module. Can’t use a pH probe without a PM1 module. But if you buy the modules, they can be connected to an Apex Junior.

Gotcha. Did do some research figured I have to buy the modules with the probes .

Which 2 though ? ORP measurements over PH or vice versa? I think I settle on the salinity module and probe.

All your really going to need is temp and ph from it. I personally never saw a need for orp and I’ve heard the salinity probe is not the greatest. I’ve got the Classic version and all I use is the temp, ph, wxm and a pmk.

Perfect , just the kind of feedback I need. I don’t see a need to go full apex and want to control and monitor a few equipment

Without question a ph probe over the other addl ones. Most useful by far.

Agree that temp and ph is all you need at this time...when trident comes out I think it will be worth it for the alk monitoring AND control, but thats a diff subj from this thread.
