IGAYDZ Paly

Before anyone starts to wonder about my sexual orientation, IGAYDZ Paly stands for "I Gottem And You Don’t Zoanthid". This name was given to these by one of the fine members of this board. I thought it was a hoot and decided to use the name.

I did this shot last night just after the MH's went off. The attempt was to get a macro of this new paly that would be suitable for framing. I wanted a bit of an “Old Masters oil painting†look. This is the best of the three shots with several lighting setups. Because of the reflective nature of this particular paly it was really important to hit it with light at just the right angle.

Settings depend on what you want to accomplish with the finished look. Some things that need to be taken into considerations are, type of lighting being used, how much of the subject you want to have in focus, or how much you don't, a high key look or low key look, etc.

I wish I could give you a stock answer but unfortunately there isn't one.
