IL-Reef-A4 Mix Red Sea 625 Build

Got the tank moved to the basement. Cut out and installed a food grade HDPE (1/16") and placed that below the rock and sand.

Then I put in ~ 120 LBS of live sand on the bottom (This is just the first 40LBS):

And here we have the tank on day 3 with the two rock structures assembled and water is flowing.

I now have the lights setup with a few starting fish. Going with 2X Neptune SKY LED's for this ~58'' x 24" tank.

Found this great conversation about copepod propagation and plan to get some pot scrubbers and try it myself.

Got the Red Sea 1200 ReefMat and installed in the sump. I went with the bigger one on this system and hope to have a lot of fish and feed them well. I am also no so good at washing/rinsing filter socks so will give this a try (or have limited time).

Bought some adaptive reef mounting options and have part of the APEX system mounted to the wall. Makes life much easier. I like these small modules from Adaptive Reef. I t allows me to really customize what I want to do in a tight space.
