That's awesome. Would love to get one but didn't think it would be possible to keep. Looking forward to seeing how it fares.
he’s taken raw shrimp from my hand. Very friendly. he tries to pull me in there with him before he takes the food though.

Do you have a way to really secure the lid?

Also, we need to see it with the baby toys. You can tease us

Working on the baby toys still. 8lbs each corner and a guardian sentry. Overflow is egg crating to reduce the vertical vents to 3/8”. have to do this at least once. He’s pretty strong and big. Smallest I’ve seen him get is about a tennis ball but can completely wrap around my fist.

Looks like you have done a good job securing lid. I am sure the sentry is also very interested

and he is a fan of clams. He came out early so I fed him one. takes him a long time though. ~30 minutes to devour it. Tried to pull my daughter into the tank ;-)

We are a fan of clams. He’s been coming out earlier each day now. Still have crabs free roaming for snacks.

Came right over during the water change today to see what I was doing. Still not interested in baby toys yet. We’ll get there!

update on the RO system.
my numbers...
I have the BRS 150gpd Plus 4 stage RODI
Town says my water pressure should be 55psi, I measure it at 45psi
Tap water is 99 TDS pH 7.3 (vivosun TDS meter)
BRS unit hooked meter shows 34PSI producing 0TDS with incoming of 12TDS
Vivosun TDS meter reads 0TDS being produced (and waste water TDS is 196)
The unit at efficiency according to BRS should be ~6.5gph (150gpd). At my pressure I'm producing ~4.5gph 0TDS pH 8.2.

is a $160 booster pump kit worth it to get the extra 2gph efficiency?

Whole Foods DI is $0.49 per gallon. There's no storage tank that I see but seems to produce an endless supply 0TDS with pH8.7.

connection is via an Angle Stop to the sink cold water compression line.

I have the RO buddy booster pump. For efficiency it’s nice. It also has the auto shutoff and auto back flush built in
I’ll have to look into that. I let it run today from noon to 6 and achieved 25 gallons.

Had a couple Aiptasia is the tank. Rather than using chemical I figured I’d try a few peppermints. Figured I’d possibly get a day of eating. 5 minutes in, one just goes straight for the cave

Fed Üter a clam this morning and when I walked back she took out and left a couple shells for me to retrieve. I guess she knows I’m the maintenance worker added a giant knobby creeper to help churn the sand. Haven’t detected any ammonia yet. And used no chemicals to start. Just TBS live Base Rock of 100 pounds. Thank you Tampa Bay Saltwater. Great advice to not need extra bacteria especially with the bio load she must make on this.
