Hi, I just bought and Innovative Marine 112, yes 36 x 36 Cube tank. I just went to Top Shelf Aquatics to get some Snails and came back home with and Used but in good shape tank. My question is: What is the best way to Illuminate this tank for SPS without breaking the bank??? 36" long is easy to cover but 36 wide is what got my head spinning faster. Any advice will be appreciated.

ATI 8 bulb is probably going to be significantly cheaper than multiple, up to 4 name brand led fixtures for a tank that size. Im pretty sure I seen a dude running the ATI 8 bulb 24” with reef brite strips on that exact tank.
It’s what I purchased and have put up in the closet and what I plan on running on my big build. The tank you have is one of the tanks I have my choices narrowed down to.

Even with budget lighting. Lighting a tank that big for SPS will be a significant cost.

I got mine used for 500. The person used it on. 90 cube with SPS (if I can remember correctly)

Yeah.... I spend a couple hours last night looking for options and check this out:
4 Radions 15 = $2k
2 Orpheks Atlantick = $2k
AquaIlumination and T5 = $2k

hahahaha... All over 2ks... with the set up that you mention will be around $1200 and I think will do the work perfectly. I don't need that much light on the edges and also I LOVE T5!!! I have had so many good results with them!!!

I can’t wait to see it. I’m excited for you.

How good a deal did you score on the 112 used

Long Story Short Greg.
I had a RedSea sps only back In New York. Sold it and move down to FL, Unable to buy a house due to the Crazy market and living in a Rented House I decide to get a Nano, to stay in the Hobby... What a mistake. Anyways, yesterday I went to Top Shelf Aquatics to get some snails and they went bringing in the IM 112 traded from a customer who decide to go other way, I ask if the tank will go for sale and they say Yes.... $600 bucks for complete system was a Deal that I can't say NO.
PS... Stand is missing one side panel. I guess i can get that later from IM or make my own.

Dang!!! I’d have walked out with that tank 10 out of 10 times at that price. That’s awesome.

Stands are easy peasy. So many resources on here and plans and stuff if you decide to build one. Repair probably easier though.
