Just upgraded from a 12g JBJ nanocube to an IM25 Lagoon. It's been a fun little COVID project with my 4yo daughter picking out the livestock. Here's the new setup!

Great upgrade and the best part is having your daughter help. My 10 year old son started the same and now tests our water for all parameters (with guidance lol)

Excellent transfer and now there's room for more coral hahah

Her favorite part is using the spectrometer to read the salinity. When I ask what it says she replies with some long story about our family

Congratulations on the near New gear and tank I hope you and your daughter had an exceptional fun , time setting this up. Up and coming reefer in training....

Looks awesome and hope to see more updates, I ironically got my parents reluctantly involved as I deployed with my tank set up at the time. After my move I'll be finally starting my upgrade (from scratch this time sadly) and will be involving my family and niece in it

Thanks man. I was into the hobby in college and sold everything for about 15 years. It's been great to get back into it and see all the advancements!

My hiatus isn't going to be nearly as long. More like a few months. I started with fresh and for a long time had an interest in salt water, but didn't bite the bullet until after a cross country move where I could because it would be a fresh start

Makes sense. Moving all this stuff is a royal pain man!

That's the way to do it. Instead of it being fun for you and a time suck for everyone else, it then becomes a family effort that everyone can enjoy.

Yep though my mom wasn't to excited when there was an equipment malfunction. She was happy when I finally got home and took back over
