I need some help with a Tunze 3155 ATO. I'm using the stock mightyjet desktop pump and it's on the lowest setting but the return chamber is still rippling so it's causing the Tunze sensor to keep coming on every few minutes when it's not evaporating! Thankfully I'm still cycling my tank. I can get a better video if you need it, I just wanted to show the return water rippling. How is everyone using this ATO? There's not enough room to center the sensor magnet due to the dual returns and 90deg elbows so it has to be near one of the 2nd chambers.

I have the same tank with tunze 3155 ato that I set up about 6 months ago as a frag tank, and I struggled for a long time to get the ato to work correctly. I tried using it low like you have it, but ultimately ended up placing it up high in the middle of the "Y" return hoses. It did require me redoing the hoses though to create more room. I bought a different 1/2" Y connector from marine depot that has a wider angle, and mounted the Y connector closer to the return pump. Since making these changes, it's been working reliably.

Also, make sure that you turn down the ato pump to the lowest possible setting.

I'll have to look into another "Y".

About the pump, when I adjusted the controller to the "nano" setting it didnt have enough pressure to even pump water to the return? I'm using the APS which is 36" high. At the lowest setting where it would pump, it was still too much pressure so I added a valve to adjust the pressure and now I have it to where it's dripping instead of a steady stream of water.

This is the only Y they have....does look like the one you have?
