I'm a proud grandpa. After returning from the SCMAS meeting I took a look at the tank and notice my female Harlequin shrimp bulging with children. Haven't been able to score any pics of the eggs yet but I'm hopeful.

She won't let me get a good look but I think they're fertilized as they are not milky. Will feed them today and try to coax them both into the open.

I would put a piece of sponge slip over sock with an airstone in it creating low flow sponge filter. Plug between airstone with hollow part. That way shrimp could hide inside and not fear possible babies getting sucked in powerhead or filtraton
