Hello everyone, glad to be a part of the site. I started my first tank in May and it's been a bumpy and wild ride since. It was a 20g with a HOB reef octopus 1000 and an ocean revive t-247.

Long story short that was all transferred to a very used, pre-drilled 75 gallon tank. I very horribly plumbed a 20G tank underneath it. Cause and effect. My spare bedroom flooded three times over the course of a month. Good times. Happy girlfriend.

Needless to say I now have a 40b, not drilled. Believe it or not out of all that tank transferring I only lost about four or five corals. Here's some shots of the tank from over the last few weeks or so.

I look forward to getting to know everyone and soaking up as much knowledge as I can.

Thank you everyone for being so welcoming. I do have carpet and had to pull it all up and run fans for a few days. Still running a de-humidifier in that room. I've plumbed two tanks for a couple friends since and they work well. Trial and error. When I have more space I'll run a larger tank again with all the bells and whistles. For now the 40b is working great.

I'm from Humboldt County, California. Got a lot of great reefers up here.
