Yes, after watching BRS tv where they look into the benefits of running them this way they found a far greater reduction I the hotspot and overall better coverage. As well as increased par on the very edges as the glass reflects the light better front to back. Check it out...

So, I've added in some Caulerpa and a small frag that's not immediately visible in the photos. The goal with this nano is an overgrown lagoon; I'm very much a fan of macros with corals. I've been thinking about starting a build thread on it, but the tank is essentially finished- there's not much room for much more.

Perhaps a little over a month or so. After they got started, they sprouted rather quickly. Your mileage may vary though; I probably haven't been caring for them quite as diligently as I should've.
