Cool. Lots of misconceptions about them. I remember people used to put them down automatically believing they are impure or could damage a line. We have a black and tan currently. Love GSD's.

They are 165w galaxyhydro, basically the same thing. These lights have narrow lenses so the higher they are the less shadowing. Thank for the dog compliment lol

I haven't. I'm pretty happy with how everything has been growing since I raised them up 7". I figure leave well enough alone

I have built an own room out of an old shed to get the sump away from the living room.

The tank has been running for about 8 months. Not my first, but no doubt the most expensive lol.

Here is my tank. Need new lights but just started to convert a fish only to a reef. The tank was moved after it was left alone for a few months by the guy before me so I lost the 3 fish he had in it. It cycled and is now going strong again.

Wow well a lot has changed in a little over a year. Here is an update picture of just over a month ago.
