Unfortunately, the Aiptasia is in multiple hard to reach spots, so we are working on the introducing natural predators, read Peppermint Shrimp. Also, employing this same method for the Asterina stars (picked up a Harlequin Shrimp, love that little guy!). Thanks for the compliments and the welcome!
Peppermint shrimp are hit and miss with aiptasia, but that doesn't mean they won't naw it down either haha. Good luck, and if you have any questions about, don't hesitate to ask[emoji3]

Copperband Butterfly is a great AIPTASIA grazer. But if they don't eat live food they will most likely be a 3 month rental

Good to know! I have always wanted a Copperband Butterfly. I feel like I'm nearing my quota on livestock right now, probably a little over actually, so I may have to hold off. o_O Currently I have:
1 Pipe Fish
2 Clowns (hosting with a leather)
1 Anemone Crab (hosting with a Bubbletip)
1 Large Cleaner Shrimp
1 Peppermint Shrimp
1 Harlequin Shrimp
1 Lawnmower
1 Sixline Wrasse
And a bounty of snails and hermits.

Probably Max Capacity :(

GORGEOUS tank, by the way!

Ya it's all doing well but it's been a week and my GSP will open about half of its polyps for a while but then the will all shut what's wrong?

Nothing sad about it! It's alive right? All seems well to me!
Looks like they are covered in algae. Take an old toothbrush and give them a good scrubbing. Then give them some time to open. From what I can see to the left it looks like there may be some cyano also. How often do you do a water change and how much do you do at a time?
Also, how much do you feed your fish?

I accidently quoted my post, read what I said right above this one^^
Well, 2 above this one haha

I change my water one a week 5% and then I feed once a day

Those gorgonians are really cool! Do you feed anything special?
Yeah. Real easy. Just set it and forget it. Lol. My Fish use it as a hideout. All I add is some phyto and microvert with a wavemaker alternating flow.. One of the best purchases for my reef. I paid 29.99 for it in Boca Raton Florida @ my LFS

May have to up the water change amount. I am dealing with some ages problems too right now. I currently do a 30% water change once a week and cut back on the amount of food i feed. I also need to change my light bulbs out, they are old. What are your water parameters?
