Looks good!

Where did you land for flow? I have this tank on order and trying to figure out if my 2 mp40s will be enough for an SPS dominated mixed reef. I don’t want pumps on the other side at all costs.

2 40's will not be enough, imo.
My 120 ran 6 powerheads to get the correct acro flow.
2 mp60's would work.
For a little more than the cost of an mp60 you could use sea sweeps with chosen powerhead.
My IM 170 will be powered by 2 sweeps running Tunze 6255's.
I did not want anything on the wall. Only cord runs through the sweep.
My system will be acro dominant.
I can turn the flow up as the tank grows in.
Take a look.

Yeah thinking it’s going to take 2 60s or maybe 4 40s. Really don’t want cords in the tank

For acro dominant tank, four MP40, two are not going to do it. Tank is 30” wide, so you will end with dead spots with two. I have 4 MP40 on mine and looking for options to add a bit more of flow. I run mine at 90% reef crest.

This is the main reason I went with the sweeps. I did not want cords or multiple powerheads. Time will tell, but from the few I know running sweeps they provide increadable random flow. Also the 6255's provide more than enough flow even when the tank is fully grown in in 2-3 years.

Yeah these comments have me thinking I should upgrade to mp60s and sell the 40s.

Honestly, four MP40 are better than two MP60. Reason for that is the flexibility to place the pumps in different areas. With two MP60, your adding more strong flow but still will miss some areas, plus tank is low so you will face to much flow to the corals close to the pumps. I even have that issue with my mp40.

Oh didn’t think about that. Actually will be cheaper to pick up two mp40s anyways. Will do that.

I plan on having a gyre 350 on each end and 2 mp40s, One on each side of the back wall. Do you guys think that will be enough flow for a mixed reef?

Never ran a gyre. Should be ok to start. You can always add more if needed. Never ran an mp either.

That's exactly what I was thinking of doing for my 200EXT I'm planning, I wonder if anyone else has any experience with them.

I am currently running 2 AI gyres. I didn't want to run one on this end of the tank but it really needed it. Running them vertical on one end caused a lot of sand to move around. I could see myself adding a 2 mp40's in the future to get more movement into the corners.
