yeah i don't have many tools handy - so pre built would be best.

I would suggest looking at used furniture shops for a sturdy small table/ drawers.

Do you live someplace where there are wood working/ furniture building classes? For example I live in SF and my husband took a class where he built a stand for our nuvo 10 for around $80 that is very pleasing and sturdy.

I would advise not to use ikea furniture unless you are reinforcing the stand.
