Here is my frag tank. It's an IM fusion 20gal. 12-24" current USA loop with power head. This is my first SW tank in at least 10yrs. Lots of new stuff now. I went bare bottom, just growing coral for fun. One peice of live rock with a bunch of mushrooms and a Kenya tree coral. Started with zoas, acans, favia, sympodium, Pavona, and a setosa. Acans are by far my favorite. I have the ghost protein skimmer and using filter socks on both sides (swap and cleaned every 4 days). 2 turbo snails and a pair of snowflake clowns.

This is my first post outside of asking coral ID help.

Some of those zoas look like they could use some more light. Maybe add another strip light?

Would that cause them to not open fully? I've noticed some days are hit or miss if they open fully. The light mount holds another strip. I had been thinking the 24-36" version. It would cover the width of the tank better. Thanks

I just noticed some of them look to be reaching for the light.

You could also try some different frag racks so you can move them closer to the light.

For an update, I've made a few additions. Another piece of rock, a rock flower nem, lots more acans, and a few hermits. Everything seems to be doing well. Finally invested in an ATO as well, just haven't set up yet. Daily top off was getting old! I want to get a dosing pump setup next. The idea of this tank was to grow out frags for a future display. Hoping for a 150ish gallon reef soon. :)
