Hi all ... I am curious if anyone sees any issues with putting a heater in the space below the first two chambers in the below diagram. Not even sure why this space is for but would like to get the heater out of my middle chamber and that compartment is just dead space.

That space is for more water volume for your return pump because that chamber is affected by evaporation. I’ve got a bag of matrix stuffed into each side of mine, mine‘s a bigger tank. That area will accumulate detritus but as long as you can easily get the heater out to clean it off I would think you could put one there. That’s a real tight area though. It might not be so easy to access to place a heater. Make sure your temp probe, if you’re using one, goes in the display, not in the back with the heater. Good luck.

Awesome, thanks!

I know I could get one in there .... it’ll be nice to have more space to play with in the middle chamber.
