Just picked this up yesterday. It's my 2nd tank my other is a 40b with 20l sump. This tank will consist of all SPS which maybe a scully on the sandbed. Im completely new to all SPS tanks I know I need a lot of flow so I was thinking of putting in a Jebao DC1200 which should fit where the stick pump is. Has anyone else put a bigger pump in? If so what did you go with?

That's a sweet set-up you have going on there.I am not sure on pump what to suggest as I have no experience with that particular tank.I would go for a large one placed towards the bottom at a upward angle to break up the water surface .Or maybe you could go with two smaller pumps. You could also just get Koralia SmartWave Controller with two of their smaller power heads and be set (plus you could have alternating flow if you wanted)

Well the space for the return pump is so small that you could not get a pump other than the OEM pump to work. I have a IM 40 and used a sicce pump but is was a tough fit. I would use one Ecotech MP 10 qd in that size tank would not have to be turned up every high to get the correct flow

Good day, I have the same tank and replace the pump by a sp1-1000 (1000 l / h) Accela, with a spin nozzle and has enough flow everywhere

I ordered all the stuff to start the cycle when it comes in next week. I got a spin stream my rock and sand. Will be getting my AI prime HD sometime on the next 2 weeks.

If you're talking about the PC (which I think you are lol) its a i7 6700k gtx 980 16 gigs of ddr3 running a 28inch 4k screen and a 24 inch 1200p 2nd display.

That is awesome! I just made the move from AMD to Intel, it was such an upgrade. I have the 6700k, with 16gb of DDR4 and a GTX 970 (I really want the new 1080), no 4k for me, just 2k.
