Last week, I was trying to decide whether to set up my 20-gallon as a marine tank or get a larger tank and use the 20 as a sump. I had almost decided to stick with the twenty until I found a 60-gallon on sale.

I plan on getting a glassholes kit and drilling it out. I want to make a nice little reef tank in my home office. Are there other alternatives to the glassholes kit? I don't mind drilling it, but I'm just wanting to know all my options.

Ideas and suggestions welcome!

Kurt. I have a Glass holes kit that I never used. I cracked my tank and the new one was already drilled with overflow. If your interested pm me.

OK! I'm excited.

I got the tank and cleaned it out. I want to strip out the sealant and reseal it. Do I do it one panel at a time or all at once?

Tips? Hints? Tricks? Links to super awesome youtube videos that show me the "right" way to do it?

Going to the pet store to pick up some sealant. I'll look for all your great suggestions when I get back!

You guys rock! Thanks.

Cool! Got it done, then came back and saw this video! :)

Thanks for the link, though!

Now I've got a couple days to let it cure and then...a water test.

Melpyr1985, Thanks for the sale of the glassholes kit. I can't wait for the sealant to cure so I can get started drilling the aquarium.

Next step after that...building the sump out of the 20-gallon.
