I'm in deep trouble

It could be the dying sponge Bob releasing silica - combining with proteins creating super awesome bubbles.

Silica can make your smoothie extra thick

Super awesome smoothies Mmmmmmmmmm :p

Alright i found the cause of all this!
I had a soft coral toadstool look-a-like dying under another rock/coral, didn't saw until i move something by accident.
It was melting/dissolving... yuk disgusting :P

Hi,

I have a problem and people will thinking i'm joking but i'm not:

For the last 2 weeks my skimmer is overwhelm by the quality skim of the bubble, hear me out:

The bubble are very strong, it's like there were made in plastic (exaggerating), they don't pop that much, they fill dry a little bit. They are so strong that even with some weight i put on the cover time to time it lift the cover.
I clean the cups every day now.

I never experience something like this before,
Try skimming wet for a day or 2.

I thought you got to Syria or jail when you sad you are in real trouble

I have had this a few times when I was restarting tanks or had the sump off for a few days because of plumbing.
I just skim wet and set a timer. When the timer calls after half an hour I check how much skimmate I have and calculate when the skimmer cup will be half full. Then I empty it in a bucket and start the timer again. After 1 or 2 full buckets the time is much longer and I tune in the skimmer again for the standard dryer skimmate.
Of coarse I need new salt water to replace the water in the bucket. From 270 gallons I have taken out about 5 gallons at most to get the water in order again.
