I was wondering if anyone knows what pump I should run to hook up a chiller to my system. A buddy gave me a corallife 1/15 chiller. I'm pretty sure I need a external pump to run the chiller but I'm not sure what pump to get. My plumbing need to run about 5 ft to the chiller and return 5ft back into to the back. I was thinking about getting the sicce 1300 which is rated at 320 gph and max 6 ft.
Thanks in adavance!

Bump for ya. :-)

Seems like it would be hard to set up. Unless you've plummed a sump into your IM25 then you need to pump it out and make sure that it's pumping back into your tank at the same rate.

I thought about that too. But there's a risk of the return pump failing then pumping out all the water.

i wonder if anyone has tried a dual pump setup. One on the intake side straight to the chiller then a return to shoot it back up. That way if a pump does fail. It wouldn't pump out the water.

Anyone know if a eshopps nano overflow would fit on the back for the lagoon? The width is 4 inches which is the same size as chamber 2

I currently am running a fusion 10 and i run a 1/15 hp chiller by jbj, you just put a pump i used the sicce 1.5 and put it in the back chamber, i used the jbj installation kit for it.

Did you have to set the sicce 1.5 down to the min setting? The sicce has a flow rate of 357 gph and the flow rate of the JBJ 1/15 hp chiller is 110 to 160 gph. I am asking because I have the exact same chiller and pump coming.

Calculate the head pressure loss coming back up to the tank, betting flow is greatly reduced? I think at 6' is shutoff
