I don't know if this is common knowledge, but the Eshopps nano skimmer fits into the back of the 25g lagoon second chamber without any modifications whatsoever. After doing a bunch of research and looking at a few different forums, no one recommended this skimmer as one that fit and I was debating on going with the IM desktop skimmer or the Tunze 9001 and modifying the return chamber a bit. I happened to see one setup with the Eshopps skimmer on google images and decided to give it a try and it has worked perfectly! Very happy with my purchase.

If your skimming needs are light; you could also consider a mame glass skimmer, gnome (if you can find one) and I believe reefglass makes one as well...

Any chance you can submit a picture this setup?
I second that statement

I can speak to this, picked it up black friday so I dont have a lot of history with it yet but so far its been great. Almost zero microbubbles in the DT so far.

Figured I'd post an update on the performance, had the unit running for about 2 weeks now and WOW its awesome. First off I've had zero microbubbles, none. I will say the thing is pretty noisy, its the loudest thing in my tank. Its fine for our living room where the tank is but I wouldn't recommend it for a bedroom or somewhere else that you'd like to be quiet. Given I havent had it all that long I cant comment on its reliability, however it feels well made and I have no reason to believe it will give me problems later on. However the most important thing is that it skims like a much larger, more expensive skimmer. Here is the skimmate from about 5 days. No green tea skim here, its black as oil. I'd highly recommend this skimmer to anyone with an IM25 or similar AIO that is looking for a high performing skimmer.

Good to know. Is that skimmer running a modified Sicce pump?

I just purchased this Eshoppes skimmer, will it work right out of the box or will i have to change out the pump for a smaller one?
