I'm ready to buy a ro/di unit for my house, sick of goin to lfs to buy it. What's a good brand to go with?

I don't need one with high water volume, only really need 10 gallons a week. 5 for water changes and about 5 for top offs.

Do they even make one for small tanks/volume output?

Thank you. Links would be helpful; )

Spectrapure. No other vendor treats and tests their RO membranes or blends their own DI resins.
Here knows what he is talking about.
Spectrapure has great units and can be had cheap!

I've been using a PurelyH2O unit for 5 years now and I love it. Before that I had the Spectrapure and another before that, which I do not remember. I don't consider the filters when buying a unit. Any filter can be put into any unit, so you can switch those out anytime. You can have Spectrapure today, BRS next month and someone else the month after that. I love the outfit I currently have at 300gpd. Get the biggest membrane you can afford. It's not about how much you can make in a day, but how fast you can make it when you need it. If I have an emergency, or need water for "whatever", I can make 12.5 gallons in an hour. If someone had a 75gpd outfit, for example, they could make only 3.

i have a Tunze 8550 works great.
i also have a spare one for sale never opened

I highly reccomend air water ice ro/di filters, excellent customer service, fast shipping, and good instructions!

im a spectrapure supporter, but i will agree, but the largest you can afford. Sure itll cost more, and replacing the membranes will be a bit pricey...but as @Lionfish Lair said, its great to be able to make a decent amount of water in a short period of time. I have a 180 GPD and wouldnt think of going down to 75 or 90...being able to make enough water for a WC in a few hours is great(7.5G/hr).
