This is my fist post on this site, so here we go. I have a Pair of platinum Clowns. What anemone would be best for them to host? RBT? LTA? Ritteri? I dont know much about what species of clowns do better with different nems. Advice greatly appreciated!!

What size tank and lights do you have? My ocellaris clowns have been hosted by a sebae anemone (h. crispa) and RBTA. Honestly, I have also found it to be a roll of the dice as to whether the clowns will be hosted by anemone. I have three clowns right now and only one likes the anemone.

I would go with a RBTA. They are a beautiful anemone, hardy, and fairly easy first anemone to keep. Clowns are all different. I always hear people talking about how their clowns won't go near their anemone.

I've never had that problem. I have multiple anemones with multiple clowns. They are hosted by every anemone in my tank. They go from one to the other like bee's on flowers.

Ill most likely end up going with the RBTA. they are beautiful and relatively easy to get a hold of where I live. thanks for the advice!

No problem. Just remember...they're notorious for moving around and floating into powerheads.

I think a BTA would be a good idea.

This is something I don't understand. My anemones never move. I have 2 RBTA and they have stayed exactly where I put them in my tank. My h. crispa also never moved. I'm not complaining I just do not understand it. I wish I did so I could help others out with their wandering anemones.

Your water parameters are on point.

If you have high nitrates, they will uproot and move like crazy.
