Okay guys, I've just started my saltwater tank and before adding anything I made sure all my levels were perfect! Quite a hassle! Haha :) now ive added 1 four striped damsel a firefish and a chocolate chip star fish! Everyone is doing great besides my little budd Chip (ccsf) he seemes really stressed, I topped off my water, hopefully that will relax him, I've tried target feeding and he ate a little bit but hasnt moved from his spot in the corned, his little arms are bent up a little bit and I've head thats from stress. Honestly any tips would truly help! Thanks!
A truly worried mama of her water friends!

Watch out for them Four Stripped Damsels. They can be on the aggressive side.

I know, Lady is actually pretty quite. I haven't seen any bad side to her yet, and thank you R2R

Hey lady welcome! I am starting out my own reef build too, I've done FOWLR for a little over 3 years before I began my own reef build this last 2 months. I would give you the same good advice I've gotten from others. Go slow and educate yourself by reading articles they post on this site and others, and by asking any questions you may have on this forum. The only stupid question is the one not asked. Good Luck!

Hahaha thanks hun, I've been a research queen since day 1 of my tank but sometimes I don't find the answer, hence why I am here. :)

How old exactly is your tank? What are all your parameters reading? Star fish need a mature balanced tank. Very sensitive to changes in their environment, especially in newer setups.

Everything is great and my tank is about a month old. I figured out that my salinity wad to high and I fixed that and turned the heat up. Hopefully he will start feeling better but I honestly think he is on his way out. I also think the store I bought him from stressed him out, he was in a tank with a puffer. I asked them why would they do that and they say that puffer is friendly. Which I know that puffers have a tendency to attack the poor starfish. I will never again buy from them!
