I do have some coral skeletons are you referring to the green all the way to the right? Is that a dead hammer or torch in the bottom right of the 5th picture?
I will look into that chemiclean for sure! I have my LFS test my water weekly. I am hoping to start learning water parameters a bit more in the future. Thank you!I’d also use chemiclean for that cyano on the sand. Just wanted to make sure you didn’t have any issues parameter wise on your euphylia or any bacterial issues. Hope this helps! Thansk looking great!
Thank you far letting me know! I will speak with my LFS as far as dosage and if it is necessary. I do have a hang on back filter. I was looking into getting a skimmer but I want to get a bigger tank first.Be careful with Chemiclean, I think I see a hob filter so I’m assuming there’s no skimmer. Chemiclean depletes oxygen in the tank and running a skimmer keeps the water oxygenated. I would just try blowing the cyano off with a pipette when you’re doing a water change, and put some flow across the sand so it doesn’t reappear. Tank is fine for 6 months in. I tried a few algae treatments early in my first tank and if your nutrients aren’t addressed you will just have another outbreak.
