So I know vendors sometimes use large squares to grow corals out. I want to do the exact thing with large squares on the bottom of my tanks to grow corals on. The thing is a pack of 10 3in ceramic squares cost 20 bucks from frag companies. I was thinking can I just use ceramic tiles from lets say Home depot? Like the ones used for the floor or bathrooms? Can I use travertine? I can get more of these for cheaper at a hardware store and it would be in my best intrest to do that. Also it would make fraging a lot easier
