I posted 2 videos. This definitely looks like legs to me. Only I don't know what they go to. Any ideas out there?

The Botttom video can be seen in 1080P, so that is the best look at this thing

Generally when I see legs coming out of the rock, it's a brittle star. So that would be my first guess, but based on the girth (ha) it could be an anemone?

I thought about brittle star. Only hesitation is this looks more like octopus tentacles (more fleshy than hard skeleton) and is very flowy in its movements.

Also it is gone now so whatever it is sucked itself back up in the rocks

Looks like a red brittle Star to me..

I'm struggling with the legs not having any spikes on them. I'm guessing not all brittle stars have furry/spikey legs?

Also, do brittle stars usually let their legs blow around in the current like that? That was blowing around like a torch coral would.

I'm going with anemone. Brittles legs wouldn't blow around like that, even in a high flow.

What sort of anemone would hang down like that? It is hard to tell. It is dark brown/purple on one side of the tentacles and muted pink on the other

Ok, here is an update that is going to shine a light on this "creature".

I added a blue linckia starfish the day before I took the video. Through some further research I have discovered pictures of starfish insides that look what I saw in my tank. The starfish was in that area, so it apparently let its insides hang out through a rock crevice. Weird.
I'm going to assume that this starfish won't make it much longer but as of now it is still moving about 6 inches a day, which I know is not far at all.

I will update the thread if the starfish quits moving and has to be removed. I am guessing the temperature is too much for it as I read that can sometimes be the issue.

Do aptasia come in colors?
very few from what I have seen in tanks. vary from clear to yellow and brown. some seem to have colors. Mojano on the other hand an be quite beautiful.
