I'm interested to get a marine aquarium and I was looking at the nuvo 20. I am wondering if there is enough room in the sump area to fit a skimmer, minimax reactor, ato, heater, media baskets, and the probes for a Neptune apex gold as well. If not is there a more compatible AIO, or would I be better off with a dedicated sump. Thanks.

There is plenty of room in the 20 gallon to fit the nano supplies in. And most will give you the dimensions on them as well. Welcome to R2R!!

Welcome! Im sure you can!. You could also look into a redsea reefer nano(or larger) theyre basically an all in one but with a sump.

Thanks for the responses and welcome! One of my buddies has a well established 150g tank, and I can't wait to start one of my own. (albeit a much smaller scale)

I have the Nuvo20. In the back, from left to right, first chamber I have filter floss holder, second chamber heater and IM biopellet reactor, middle chamber has my pH probe, pump, ATO float and macro algae, next chamber has my IM ghost skimmer, last chamber has the media rack. It all fits nicely.

Thanks for the response. Do you have a picture of it by any chance? What are you running in the media rack? I was thinking about running Seachem Purigen and some Chemipure Elite.

Here is a picture of the sump.

If you use the IM products you should have no problem with fitting everything.
My IM 20 was set up like this left to right: 1st chamber media rack, 2nd chamber heater, Middle- probes and Tunze nano ATO, 4th chamber IM skimmer, 5th chamber IM filter sock.

Its a great beginner tank you'll love it, but you will likely end up wanting a bigger tank before you know it, haha. Once you get addicted its never ending upgrades ;)

I agree. This is my first tank and I have had no issues in 1.5 years with IM equipment. Skimmer: drop it in, plug it in. Adjust cup height. Done. Pellet reactor: fill with beads, drop it in, plug it in, adjust flow, done. I used to have two IM spin streams on my returns but they both failed
