IM Nuvo Fusion 20 owners question!

Hi all

I got an IM Nuvo Fusion 20, set up for a few weeks now. I upgraded from a 9g cube

I've noticed the water drains fast. Evaporates extremely fast in comparison to the 9g. It has the same light I was using, temp's the same. I can't figure out why I am topping off so much.

There's no leaks that I can see nor feel, I checked several times.

I am topping off nearly half a gallon every other day. My 9g I top off a gal a week.

I want to see if its typical for this particular tank to evaporate so quickly?

Sounds about right. Compared to your 9g, you have more surface area exposed on the 20g AIO. You must be running a high turnover as well because I would go thru 1 gallon maybe 4-5 days but my water turnover is much lower than most people.

thank you for the confirmation! I will have to get an ATO for this tank and figure out where to put it. The stand isn't a cabinet to do so.

My ato goes through about 2 gal every 7 days.

thank you everyone I was worrying there might be something wrong with the tank. glad its just not me
