After a year and a half in this hobby (I had experience with FW), I have moved from my original nano 20g to a 30g.... then to a 55g.... then to a 75g with a sump. During that final upgrade, I didn't move quickly enough and lost two of my favorite fish, a Royal Gramma and a Pygmy Angel which had previously been very healthy and robust. :-( I've decided that I will forever be maintaining this 75 gallon tank and sump and I pretty much have it as full as it can be.
Besides inverts, including a pretty industrious pistol shrimp, conch and the usual CUC, I have another Royal Gramma and Cherub (Pygmy Angel), two clowns, a Midas blenny, Scopas and Hippo tangs, Orange spot goby, Hector's goby, Randall's goby, Warpaint goby (do ya sense a favorite species?).
My corals mostly consist of softies: mushrooms (LOVE Ricordea and Yumas), nems, leathers, octospawn, 1 wellsophyllia, GSP, palies and a few patches of zoas. Two sets of LEDs make raising my corals successful, for the most part. I don't have luck with SPS or anything that requires high output lighting. Please wish me luck with my obsession!
